These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the administration of the safeclouds.space service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”, “We”, “Our”) and users (hereinafter referred to as “User”, “You”). By using the Service, you automatically agree to these Terms and undertake to comply with them.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. The Service provides functionality for uploading, storing, organising, and sharing files, as well as managing access to them.
1.2. These Terms are binding on all users of the Service. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
1.3. The Administration reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. The updated version will be published on the website and becomes effective upon publication. Continuing to use the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new version.
2. USER RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
2.1. You have the right to:
Upload, store, organise, and delete your files within the provided storage space.
Create workspaces and invite other users to collaborate.
Set access levels for your files and folders.
Share files with third parties via public or protected links.
2.2. You undertake to:
Provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
Bear full responsibility for the security of your account credentials (login, password, two‑factor authentication keys) and for all actions performed under your account.
Comply with the applicable laws of the Russian Federation and international regulations regarding the use of information systems and intellectual property protection.
Use the Service in good faith, without violating the rights of other users or third parties.
3. PROHIBITED ACTIONS AND FILE TYPES
3.1. The following files and materials are strictly prohibited from being uploaded, stored, transmitted, or otherwise distributed through the Service:
Malicious software (viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, rootkits, miners, exploits, or any other software capable of damaging computer systems or breaching data confidentiality).
Files that violate the laws of the Russian Federation:
Counterfeit or pirated copies of software, audio and video materials, e‑books, and other copyrighted works.
Materials of an extremist, terrorist, or violent nature.
Pornographic materials, child pornography, materials depicting cruelty to animals.
Information that incites ethnic, racial, or religious hatred.
Instructions for manufacturing weapons, drugs, explosives, or other illegal items.
Personal data of third parties without their explicit consent (e.g., passport details, bank card numbers, medical records).
Any files whose distribution is prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
3.2. It is forbidden to use the Service for:
Mass distribution of spam, phishing, or fraudulent links.
Unauthorised vulnerability scanning, password cracking, or attempts to hack the Service.
Posting links to external resources that contain the prohibited content mentioned above.
Actions that may disrupt the stable operation of the Service or place an excessive load on the infrastructure.
4. RIGHTS OF THE ADMINISTRATION
4.1. We reserve the right to:
Delete or block access to any files that violate these Terms or the law, without prior notice.
Temporarily or permanently suspend a user’s account upon detection of violations.
Change the terms of service provision, including storage limits and functionality.
Perform maintenance work that may affect the availability of the Service, with prior notice (except in emergencies).
Share information about violations and data of offenders with law enforcement authorities in accordance with the law.
4.2. The Administration is not obligated to verify the content of uploaded files, but reserves the right to conduct selective monitoring to enforce these Terms.
5. USER LIABILITY
5.1. The User bears full responsibility for the content of uploaded files and for their compliance with the law and these Terms.
5.2. In case of a breach of these Terms, the User undertakes to compensate for any losses incurred by the Administration or third parties as a result of such violations (including court costs and fines).
5.3. The Administration is not liable for the actions of users that violate the law or the rights of third parties, nor for any potential consequences of file exchanges between users.
6. BLOCKING AND DELETION PROCEDURE
6.1. Upon detection of a violation of these Terms, the Administration may apply the following measures (at its discretion):
Send a warning to the User with a request to remedy the violation within a specified timeframe.
Restrict access to a particular file or folder.
Block the account with notification to the User.
Completely delete the infringing files and all related data.
6.2. In the event of repeated or gross violations (e.g., uploading malware or content that violates criminal law), the account may be blocked without the possibility of restoration.
7. STORAGE AND DELETION OF FILES
7.1. Uploaded files are stored for the entire duration of the User’s active account, unless otherwise provided by the tariff plan.
7.2. The User may delete their files at any time. After deletion, they are permanently erased from storage systems within 7 days, except for backup copies, which may be retained until their rotation period expires.
7.3. In the event of prolonged inactivity of an account (more than 12 months), the Administration reserves the right to notify the User and, if there is no response, delete their data.
8. PRIVACY
We respect the confidentiality of your data and do not share it with third parties, except as provided for in the Privacy Policy or as required by law. For more details about our data processing policies, please refer to the separate “Privacy Policy” document published on the website.
9. FINAL PROVISIONS
9.1. These Terms come into force upon their publication on the safeclouds.space website.
9.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, it does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
9.3. Any disputes or disagreements arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be resolved through negotiations. If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the court at the location of the Service’s Administration (Moscow, Russian Federation) in accordance with applicable law.
